2007 Grassroots Media Camp
The Media Camp was very successful, with nearly 50 participant-focused media skills training workshops. About 150 attended at least one workshop, and several people came from as far away as Seattle and Hood River. 8 community and alternative media organizations in Multnomah County allowed us to use their space to hold workshops.
Listen to the KBCS feature for an overview of the media camp, produced by attendee Kathryn Higgins
Listen to the KBOO feature for more in-depth interviews and examples from the media camp, produced by Circle A Radio.
Click here for the class schedule (.pdf) or read below is a list of many of our workshops and examples of the skills participants have learned. Please contact us at pdxmediacamp(at)gmail.com if you have content from previous camps that you would like us to link to.
